Ah...the memorial to Emma Sansom. She showed Gen. Forrest and his Confederate army the way across Black Creek. She got a statue and a high school in her honor. Not bad for a 14 year old girl.

Love it! My mom insists she take Hill to Nelsons everytime we are in Gadsden- last time though, this old man that worked there yelled at me for trying to get something down from a top shelf! ;-) And those are GOOD hotdogs- good for her for being Stevie's EX wife!!
