You have to take this quiz. My score was as follows...
"96% Dixie...Is General Lee your father?"
Well, my dad is no general, but you don't get any more southern than he is. Of course, making everything into a multi-syllabic word doesn't help, I suppose. I love when my stepkids come to visit and I send them home saying "ya'll" and "fixin' to". I am sure that goes over really well at home ;)

I took the quiz and posted the results at my blog. My score was not as high as I would have thought.
I'm sure my dad's wife, who is from Boston, goes nuts listening to us talk. Of course, I want to scream everytime she drops an "R". Exactly what is a "cah"?
79% Dixie here! To be honest I was supprised. Eventhough I was born and raised in the south I learned how to speak "standard American" which is basically speaking with out an accent. But I can turn that off and on! That was a fun little quiz
LOL Jana! I scored the same as you.
My father ain't a general neither, but he shore is a redneck. hehehehe
What I find really fun though, is since I read a lot of chick lit and books set in urban cities, I pick up some of the expressions and words and use them on family members and then they start using those same expressions. :-D
